WMnow Weekly report This week we have been carrying out HiVis Mobile and foot Patrols around Fordbridge, meeting and chatting with residents along the way, house call’s, reassurance visits, Shop thefts, community engagements at Connection Church giving crime prevention advice and dealing with multiple calls for service CRIMES On 30/11/1966 in EXETER DRIVE Marston Green An unknown offender has smashed the rear door window to a Vauxhall Grandland , the offender has then pulled the seat down to look in the boot and rummaged through the inside of the vehicle however nothing was taken. Offender has made off in an unknown direction. On 21/09/2025 between 11pm-11.40pm in NINEACRES DRIVE, Fordbridge. An Unknown offender has entered a residential property via an insecure window and conducted an untidy search making a mess, pulling out drawers and moving items out of their place. No items have been stolen, the offender has made off in an unknown direction On 26/09/2025 at 08:00 A property in CHELMSLEY ROAD An unknown suspect has committed criminal damage having broken the side gate to multiple properties by ripping off a wooden panel and reaching though to open the gate. Enquiries ongoing. On 27/09/2025 between 8.30pm and 9pm A vehicle was stolen from an address in ARDERNE DRIVE, Fordbridge. A Male has been seen driving the vehicle at speed, Officers stopped him however the male has then made off on foot, officers pursued the male, caught and arrested him, subsequently a number of other offences are being looked into in relation to this male, enquiries ongoing. On the evening of 27/09/2025 Both wing mirrors of a motor vehicle parked in 44 Ilkley Grove, B37 5JJ were broken by an unknown offender who has made off in an unknown direction.
CRIME PREVENTION ADVICE: Vehicles If you own a vehicle Please remember to remove valuables when parking, do not leave valuables on display Inside your vehicle, double check you have locked your vehicle before leaving it unattended, consider using security devices such as steering wheel and wheel locks, set alarms and imobilisers.
CRIME PREVENTION ADVICE: House’s Nights are drawing in so consider using timer devices to set lights to come on if you are out in the evening, ensure window’s and doors are locked before leaving your house unattended, if you have an alarm please remember to set it and ensure any CCTV is working. This coming week we will be at the connection Church on cooks lane on 02/10/25 10-11am Mother and Toddler group and on the 04/10/25 at the community Café for crime prevention advice, come along for a chat and to meet some of your local Neighbourhood Police team.
